Bio

Michael Rhodes here, Agricultural Consultant and Executive Director of Quantum Assessment Solutions. I'm glad you've taken time to visit the QAS web site. My commitment to the agricultural and horticultural communities is strong. I received my Bachelors Degree in Agricultural Science from Colorado State University (Ft. Collins, CO). I really enjoyed my program at Colorado State. My degree focused on insect pests of crops, plant diseases, weed management, and Integrated Pest Management (IPM). In addition, I worked several summers for the Colorado State Forest Service, which gave me valuable experience with urban forestry and disease/pest/chemical damage identification. Following this, I received my Masters degree in Library and Information Science from Drexel University (Philadelphia, PA) in 1995. During my professional career, I've worked as an Academic Librarian and a Public Librarian serving the students and faculty.

Over the past few years, I've discovered my gifts with kinesiology testing, or muscle testing. I experience kinesiology testing as a way to gather information through a series of assessments in order to make the best decision or to find the best treatment method. In order to get beneficial results with kinesiology testing, one must still have a foundation of scientific knowledge and expertise in the area for which they are testing, e.g., having experience with integrated pest management and biological control methods. Otherwise, it's like using a calculator and not understanding which buttons to push in order to get the correct answer back. In other words, I utilize problem-solving logic and the most up-to-date research methods for sustainable agriculture in addition to kinesiology testing. There are currently many successful, alternative medicine practitioners throughout the country who utilize kinesiology testing in their practices.

I grew up in south Florida back in the 1970's and 80's, and health foods, alternative medicine, and "back to nature" ideals flourished there during this time period. Vegetarian and raw food diets came into the spotlight, and holistic healing became more widely practiced. I read many books on herbal healing, foraging for wild edible and medicinal plants, and working with color/vibrational healing, among other things. It was in my early 20's when I tried my first shot of wheatgrass juice! Let it be said that I immersed myself in the world of nutrition, supplements, and alternative medicine. For instance, in the early 1980's I attended a fascinating workshop on the Chinese Five Element theory that focused on using food as medicine.

Throughout my life's journey, I've devoted myself to developing my spiritual awareness and inner wisdom. I've studied with my beloved Master Spiritual Teacher, John-Roger for over 25 years and was ordained as a Minister in The Church of the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness (MSIA) in 1988. In 2008, I received my Master of Spiritual Science degree (similar to Master of Divinity) from Peace Theological Seminary & College of Philosophy, Los Angeles, CA.

Thanks again for taking time to visit the QAS web site. I'm available to answer any questions about QAS services. How may I be of service to you?

In service and in stewardship to our land and our food,

Michael
